Now that you learned katakana in the previous article, let's try some reading quizzes to see how well you actually understand katakana and can read words written in it.

How was that? Did you get most of them? Those similar katakana like シ/ツ or ソ/ン are what Japanese children get also tricked often. It might take longer for you to get used to katakana as you would see or use less katakana words in sentences compared to hiragana. However, nowadays we are getting more and more katakana words used in our daily lives, and being able to read/write katakana is critical.
